Why We Do What We Do

BB Sales Development exists to challenge outdated, one-size-fits-all sales training that delivers little lasting impact.

We believe development should be practical, relevant, and built around real business needs, not generic theory.

My career began in education, where I learned how to simplify complexity and adapt to different ways of learning — skills that still underpin how I develop people today.

I then built a 25-year career in FMCG sales, working across Field Sales, National Accounts, and senior leadership roles. I’ve led teams, managed key customers, and consistently delivered — often exceeding — commercial targets.

I’ve also designed and implemented sales systems and processes that have improved performance across multiple teams.

Developing people has always been a core focus. From onboarding new starters to supporting progression into senior roles, I focus on building the skills, mindset, and behaviours that drive measurable results.

Outside of my professional career, I’ve spent over 20 years as a voluntary sports coach, helping individuals progress from beginner to elite level. This has further shaped my practical, engaging coaching style.

I combine the structure of an educator, the commercial focus of a sales leader, and the mindset of a coach to deliver development that is practical, relevant, and built to last.
